Terms
and Conditions of Hire and Safety
BOOKING OF EQUIPMENT
| I. | A responsible person capable of exercising authority over children should supervise the equipment at all times. They should be on hand at all times whilst the inflatable is in operation. I.e. an adult. |
| II. | All shoes and especially sharp objects such as toys or glasses should not be allowed on to the inflatable nor should silly string, streamers of face paints be allowed. |
| III. | The person(s) hiring the equipment shall take full liability for any wilful damage caused to, or theft of the equipment whilst hired to them. |
| IV. | It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the equipment is not overloaded to the detriment to the users safety. |
| V. | Some inflatable have age restrictions which you will be advised of when booking. Rodeo bulls and all other multi rides are for aged 10 years and above. |
| VI. | The supervisor must ensure that the children do not climb on any safety walls or roofs. |
| VII. | All units come complete with electric fans; petrol fans are available at an extra cost. Petrol is not supplied and is the responsibility of the hirer. |
| VIII. | When hiring items from Funday Entertainment LTD they are only insured when a member of Fundays staff is present. |
| IX | When hiring an item that is being supervised by a Funday member of staff. This will be for a 4 hour period unless agreed otherwise. This is shown by the start and finish times on your contract. |
| X | When hiring a rodeo unit please make sure you have a clear access of 33inches or wider to get the base unit through, if the base unit cannot fit through this item CANNOT be used and all money will be non refundable. |
| LOCATION AND CONDUCT OF EQUIPMENT | |
| I. | The equipment must not be moved from the agreed venue without prior consent from Funday Entertainment LTD. |
| II. | Public liability cover shall be deemed invalid if the equipment is tampered with in any way by persons other than employees of Funday Entertainment LTD or if used inappropriately after advised by Funday LTD staff. Extension leads are to be connected by only Funday Entertainment LTD. At all times the equipment remains the property of Funday Entertainment LTD and shall not be hired or otherwise without the written consent of Funday Entertainment LTD. |
| III. | Funday Entertainment LTD or their employees are not responsible for any damage or accidents caused by undue care and attention of the inflatable or if the above precautions have not been adhered to and where inappropriate behaviour has occurred. Public liability insurance will be invalid if a Funday Entertainment LTD operator is not present on any of our equipment, unless already agreed with Funday Entertainment LTD. |
| IV. | The company reserve the right to refuse delivery if the venue or site is deemed to be unsuitable by our delivery personnel or if the client has failed to notify the company of any delivery obstructions such as stairs or excessive loading distances from our vehicle to the installation site. In such a case no refund will be given and the full hire fee will be due. |
| V. | Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once unloaded. |
| VI. | The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company. |
| VII. | We cannot be held responsible for being late at your event due to traffic congestions. i.e. road accidents. We always add an hour on our journey for traffic inconveniences. In the event of traffic or other uncontrollable circumstances preventing us from being able to fulfil our contracted obligations our liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event or a pro rata reduction in the hire fee in the event of delayed start. No further compensation will be paid irrespective of any loss of earnings. |
| VIII. | By completing the booking form regardless of whether a booking contract has been returned or a deposit been paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire. |
| PRICES, DEPOSIT AND BALANCE | |
| I. | All hirers are subject to a deposit of at least 25% which is required when booking which is non refundable. |
| II. | Full payment is required to be paid and cleared 7 working days prior to your event date. |
| III. | Terms for approved account clients are 30 days from event date. |
| IV. | The company reserves the right to implement interest charges on any overdue account at 3% above its banker’s current interest rate. |
| CANCELLATION DETAILS | |
| In the event of inclement weather the hirer is responsible for the full cost of booking whether the booking takes place or not. | |
| I. | Non refundable deposit of 25% is required when booking. |
| II. | One month prior to date will be 50% of balance. |
| III. | Two weeks prior to date will be 75% of balance. |
| IV. | One week prior to date will be 100% of balance. |
| SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS | |
| If the item you are hiring is to be placed anywhere other than on level grass area, free from obstruction, other than within 10metres of an electrical power supply, we must be informed prior to the day of delivery, so that any additional safety equipment can be provided. The onus of which will fall on to the hirer if this is not the case. | |
